Hi I was kind of amazed that EverWeb does not create a sitemap.xml file. Especially as the program stores most of it's work files as xml files ( before publishing ) . So I would like to see this functionality in EverWeb as it shouldn't be too hard to create it I think. Also it would benefit from the FTP Upload that is incorporated in the program now. I tried to create a POLL with two answers but somehow only 1 got through ? So please post below if you want it....or not... Last edit 12 years ago |

Hi Peter, Thanks for your suggestions. Quote: I was kind of amazed that EverWeb does not create a sitemap.xml file. Especially as the program stores most of it's work files as xml files ( before publishing ). Just because the files are stored as XML doesn't necessarily make generating an XML Sitemap file any easier in EverWeb. With that being said, it is not a very difficult feature to add. However, we do have a very powerful XML Sitemap generator already available. It is not provided for free as it provides some very important features generate a proper XML Sitemap file. There are many more features we are working on before implementing an XML Sitemap feature within EverWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I would advise anybody who creates websites to get Sitemap Automator Its ability to track down broken links will make the cost seem paltry the first time you use it for this purpose. It has saved what'e left of my sanity on many occasions when restructuring large websites. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
