(I'd like to say thank you the very helpful people on this forum and the great developers at EverWeb - this is a great product!) I'd like to create an "event" where invitees reply YES, NO, or MAYBE, (and add comments if they like). And I'd like the entire list of invitees be able to see all the other people who have replied YES or MAYBE (or I suppose NO too). If EverWeb doesn't have a way to authenticate visitors (say from FaceBook or LinkedIn if they've already signed in there), I'm happy to embed a FeaceBook event or a meetup.com event if I knew how. And if anyone has an example on their EverWeb site or one they know of, I'd love to see a finished product working. Thanks again! Kevin Q. |

Thanks very much for the reply Jumbo - That's so close to what I need but I can't quite make it work (but will keep trying and get back to you). The problems I'm having are: (1) The first step of that says that both the event and post referencing it must be PUBLIC. I probably can't leave the event public but was able to do those and get the embed code onto my site. Problem is modifying or deleting either breaks the snippet. (2) What shows up in the embedded snippet is the post referencing the event and the comments to it. Unfortunately, it doesn't show (open) the event itself to show the attendees. I'm hoping to show the event open to see attendees because I think only seeing the comments to it would confuse people. If you or anyone has seen an EverWeb or EasyWeb site with anything like this (RSVP's to an event shown with name, picture, and comments from attendee), I'd love to see the finished product.
