I noticed once you "export text as image" the text no longer works as a link with mouse over or clicking capabilities. Is this something that will be available in the future? ALSO would it possible to make a feature that allows us to embed font files into the page/site? I think if it was possible this would be a HUGE feature to have. I realize this is possible with CSS coding, however being able to just "browse" and "import" font files into a page would be a game changer. As always THANK YOU for a wonderful product that seems to be getting better and better with time! |

The text can't act as a hyperlink since it is no longer text. You would need to make the whole image a hyperlink. Converting text to an image is not something that is recommended unless you add "real" text to describe the image which rather defeats the point of adding the image in the first place! Font files and their corresponding stylesheet can be imported into the EverWeb Assets List. Then paste a link to the stylesheet into the site wide head code box… <link rel="stylesheet" href="{!-ASSETSPATH-!}External%20Files/file-name.css" type="text/css" /> More info here… http://everwebcodebox.com/layout/fonts.html There is an article about using custom fonts on the All ABout iWeb site HERE. However it doesn't actually give the full story and isn't the best nor the easiest method of doing it. When you download a font you should get the font file in all the common formats to cover the major browsers and also a stylesheet. All these need to be dragged into Assets but only the stylesheet needs to be referenced as shown above. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! We're working towards this feature and it is high priority. Have you looked at Google Fonts though? It's very easy in EverWeb.
