Text Wrap and Bullet Points

It's great to hear about the new update, but please, please, this is fancy stuff without having the basics and is rather like learning to run before you can walk.

Please add the basics like text wrap around images and bullet points as iWeb had from the get go - PayPal and shopping cart integration I can do without, but not text wrap and bullet points.

I completely agree with this post -- text wrap and bullet points are sorely missing in EverWeb. I am really surprised that these two features have not yet been implemented. Come on, guys, let's see some progress on this front. Just my 2 cents.

I'm really glad that it is not just me and that someone else agrees with me.

I really don't understand why it is so difficult to implement. I did ask once before and was told that it was quite complex, but if iWeb managed to do it I don't quite see why?

It is a good programme for the most part and I can see why they released an update that had direct publishing via ftp, but including a PayPal integration widget too without basics like text wrap and bullet points defeats me really.

Come on and hurry with another update very soon that includes text wrapping and bullet points - if iWeb could do it then why can't you?

Please don't assume that because iWeb included a feature that it is easy to do in EverWeb. That is not the case.

Bulleted lists will be added soon though for sure. Right now press option-8 on your keyboard to add the bullet point in EverWeb.

Just purchased EverWeb. So far so good. But DEFINITELY need text wrap and bullet points. Text wrap a must! Thanks.

So I have option-8'ed but all I get is a dot at the beginning of the sentence. How do I get at least the appearance of a hanging indent? The "drop and drag' from iWeb so far has proved more drag than drop.

Text wrap as a high priority gets my vote too !

Totally agree: text wrap around images is essential. I still continue to use iWeb because my old sites are frequently populated by image wrapping and can't be transferred to EverWeb easely because of that. See my examples (in Dutch language) below.

The dot at the beginning of the sentence is all that you are supposed to get - it is meant to be a workaround whilst we wait for something better, but it is not a very good workaround, so I gave up on it and created the site without the points that I really wanted to insert.

Got a little fed up with it so re-created one of my sites in a content management system instead.

As an iWeb user, I have tried EverWeb and really like what I see. A number of friends and I are sitting on the fence awaiting text wrapping. We really wish to support financially your efforts but text wrapping a must. Keep working, we are waiting.

Need text wrap ASAP. Also need captions and forwarding for the slider pictures.

If you download the latest beta you will find that the image gallery now supports captions.

Some new widgets for a gallery and sliders which support captions, alt text and image hyperlinks are shown HERE.

These will be available as soon as a release version of EverWeb V 1.4 is announced.

For those interested in text wrap, there is a free Image Text Wrap widget that can be found on EverWeb's add-ons page.

The widget pack that I mentioned in my previous post includes a TEXT WRAP widget.

Since some of these widgets utilize the new control features which will be available in EW V1.4, I am waiting for this version to be released before making the widgets available. Perhaps its existence may help you to jump off onto the right side of the fence!
