Here's another little foible with text. I added a text box, highlighted the default text, changed the font type/size before typing any text and couldn't type or delete the default text. I deleted the box and tried another - same result. Hi Roddy, I believe we have just fixed this issue. It actually has nothing to do with the font panel. It happens when you click the mouse within the text object (while editing), keep the mouse down and only let go of the mouse button when the pointer is outside the text object.
