I am encountering a couple of problems with EW 1.3.1 FC 1) The Open Sans Google font is not working in Firefox (seems to NOT be working with others as well) 2) If I use "Export text as image" and publish site changes the text is messed up. Publishing the entire site fixes that problem... By the way, Google font in the Navigation menu does look as it should in Firefox. Quote: 1) The Open Sans Google font is not working in Firefox (seems to NOT be working with others as well) Can you show me a URL where it doesn't work? Nothing has changed with this feature. Can you show me an example? Nothing has changed in this feature either. Are you sure it isn't a caching issue? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Hi Paul, Here is the page: http://victoria.victoriamushkatkol.com/biography.html Just to show you what I see on my computer I am attaching two screenshots. ( This was a new site so nothing was cached before) I will try to reproduce the second issue and attach a screenshot... I am totally confused... These images look exactly the same when I attach them... But if I open them in Preview on my computer they are not the same...What's up?

Paul, Here is a screenshot of what happens if I use Export as image and publish changes: notice the text under Biography does not start from the beginning... If I publish the entire site it looks fine... Last edit 12 years ago ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

The Open Sans font works OK on your site. It's the SourceSansPro that doesn't look right…

Can you publish a page somewhere that uses the Export Text as Image option?

Quote: The Open Sans font works OK on your site. It's the SourceSansPro that doesn't look right… Paul, the only place I am using SourceSansPro is in the title "Victoria Mushkatkol".... The text of the Biography/Reviews is supposed to be Open Sans. I looked on two computers and on both it doesn't look right in Firefox. Quote: Can you publish a page somewhere that uses the Export Text as Image option? It seems to mess up Text only when I move something else on the page...And I just discovered that the problem appears only when published to the Folder. When I publish to the server it looks as it should. ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

Do you have the latest version of FireFox? Seems like there are issues with Google Fonts in some versions of FireFox; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/958143 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/979334 It works OK for me in the latest version of FireFox. We've identified a bug with google fonts and are working on a fix for it. However this wouldn't apply to this situation unless you are looking at your site on a computer that doesn't have the font installed.

Paul, here is what I discovered. Just on this particular website ( the only one created with the latest version) when I see it in Firefox the font changes to whatever font is specified in the Preferences of Firefox. That does not happen on other sites where I use the same font. Here is the published site (in progress): www.victoria.victoriamushkatkol.com ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |
