Switching over to EverWeb from iWeb

I'm new to EverWeb, and have been creating my websites through Apple's iWeb. I currently have more than one website, and would like to make the switch very soon to EverWeb, but have some questions that I've not found the answers to in the forum. 1. In making the switch, I'd like to move all of my sites to EverWeb. Does the purchase of one license for EverWeb support more than one website at a time? 2. Is there a way of being able to work on my websites through multiple computers, (not at the same time) or does the license permit for only one device at a time? I have read that with iWeb, the website files can saved on an external hard drive and then transferred to another apple computer (that has iWeb) and can be opened in iWeb and worked on from that device, and I wondered if EverWeb is similar. I had read somewhere in the forum that in order move from one device to another, the license had to be deleted, or uninstalled from one computer and then registered on another. I may have this wrong in my understanding, so I apologize in advance. Thank you for your assistance, Jamie |

Hi Jamie, 1. Yes you can make unlimited websites with EverWeb 2. Yes you can do this. A license needs to be purchased for each user, not computer. | How do I buy another license? Is that just buying another download? I can't seem to find this anywhere in the sales/billing area of the website. I created the website on my computer, but I want to pass off the responsibility of maintaining it to an intern. How can she have Everweb on her computer, in our account, and work on our site? This person will only be working with me for two months and I really don't want to have to buy a whole other download just for her computer to have her take it with her when she leaves. | |

If you are using EverWeb + Hosting you won't need a new license but she will have to login with your account. If you are using EverWeb standalone she will need her own license. Please open a ticket with sales if you need more information about unique licensing details. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
