| I have three sites going to main domain. Lets call them - clubs, clubs1, club2, while watching a terrible long upload i noticed that clubs1 is uploading club2 files along with the files in club1 folder and visa versa . Don't understand. | |

| yes Clubs is main,and club1 and club2 are separate projects files, they all come up as different projects in project window. | |

| i think i figured out that when I save to the folder on my computer the old files are still there and because of the nature of my site file now that I am using master pages some file names have changed but the old one is still there . So if I remove the contents of the on computer folder that I publish to, and publish new created files I should be ok? just a little house cleaning! how does that effect the file in the EW folder that I am never to touch? Are they just added or does the software delete un used files ? And how is that handled on the server, should i use cpanel to clean old files in folders ( but not the folders !) is this important. have redesigned site with master pages and would like to get rid of old files. If I upload to another url that is now redirected to main domain where the mess is and do away with redirect . How will that work? thanks for your time and thank you for this software, it only gets better! | |

Yes, of now you should delete the old folder so old files don't publish since they won't be deleted. You can delete the files on your server if you have FTP or cPanel access. Also, please don't double post your replies as new threads here as it just creates unneeded duplicate posts. I am going to delete you other thread. | still have the question about club1 and club2 files being uploaded when either subdirectory is published? they don't share folders, is that coming from EW files already in EW file on computer ? | |
