Single page preview

As my site grows bigger with more pages, it is taking longer for the preview to come up in Safari or Opera. Most of the time I am just wanting a quick preview of a single page, but I dont see any way to get that. The Preview button seems to preview the entire site. Also, I would like to suggest that the Colors button in the tool bar also work when a text box is selected for text. Should be easy to implement, no? And very helpful so one doesnt have to go looking around for where to change text colour. |

If you are using EverWeb one-click publishing, previewing will be much faster. we are working on improving previewing though. The colors button in the Toolbar DOES work for text. If it is not working for you, please describe exactly what you are trying. A screen recording would be helpful to see what you are doing. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Since I am publishing to a local folder, the Preview button is mostly redundant as it takes just as long to produce a result as with publishing to a folder. In any case, I don't want to preview the whole site - just the page I am working on. Now that a few of us have sites with 100+ pages, it has become obvious that a quick single page preview is necessary due to EverWeb's inability to show the results of inserting custom code and the time consuming way in which snippets need to be constantly updated. I have had to resort to creating new pages on a separate project file and then copy the content over to the main one. The ability to preview one page in a matter of seconds - rather than minutes - would be a vast improvement. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
