It is very difficult to edit text in Everweb. Will there be any improvement in future versions? |

I haven't experienced this problem. Can you elaborate some more on what is happening when you try and edit text?

Firstly, you have to double-click in the text box which marks the whole text before you can place the cursor right for editing. It would be better if you could use the text tool directly without the whole text first is marked. Secondly, it would be good if the delete key backward worked, so you don´t have to jump first backward in the text, then press the delete key forwards to delete. Now that I am used to this method of selecting I now find it convenient and it seems logical. Click once to select the box only. Click the text box twice to highlight all the text - this is useful to quickly delete the original text when you duplicate a text box to save formatting a new one. Click the text box three times to get the insert point. It never has worked since day 1 and takes a bit of getting used to.

Forward delete has just been implemented for version 1.2. A final candidate version will be posted shortly.
