Image Slider not Showing Preview

For some reason, my image slider will not show the preview. It's just stuck as seen below. I've taken all the pics out and tried it gain but no luck. I need the preview so that I can get the image to fit the slider box itself otherwise it looks like my second image below. Any thoughts?

Make sure you are connected to the internet, otherwise it won't preview correctly.

Can you see the slider when you publish the page?

Have you tried increasing the value for HTML Snippet Preview Delay in Preferences/General? I have a site with a huge number of code snippets. Sometimes the snippets preview right away and other times not at all during a session. I have no idea why this happens and it is random. I just came across the same problem and it seems to be with the old version 1.1 Build 1164.
