Full-width header, footer, picture

Hi,

I was trying to add a full-width elements to my site but is so complicated for me.
Please someone can explane me how can I do that

I take it by "full-width" you mean the full width of the browser rather than the content area?

Using the centered layout, EverWeb creates a fixed with page. Full width elements need to go outside of this container and have 100% width.

You can add a full width responsive background image as shown here…

To create something like a full width header you need to go out of the box - literally. Here's a Test Page with an example.

This is done by creating a header div in a snippet and dragging it outside of the content area. It is not exactly straightforward to do and it's not something I would use for a website project at this time.

Thank you for your quick answer.
I noticed, nowdays a lot of sites has full width header or footer.
Maybe I misunderstood something but I link a page to show

The site you referred to is a fully responsive one where all the content will adapt to the browser or device screen width. This is not something that can be done in EverWeb at the present time.

I well understand that. It's about the future, it would be great to have such opportunities to the v2.0

I'm all for this feature. Headers and Footers than can be Dynamically the width of a browser.

Maybe this feature links in with the development of site wide headers and footers... so you only have to make them once instead of copying and pasting them to every page...
