Publishing... Am I being impatient?

Hi,

I've been working hard to finally get my site to a green light stage to publish and I'm feeling a little confused. I hope you can help me out?

I've got the one-click publishing (2gb) package.

When I go to publish to EverWeb everything works ok until the drop down says visit website. When I click ok it takes me to a page supplied by the company where I bought my domain from. I'm not sure why it does this? When I became a part of what was EasyWeb Beta I was asked if I wanted RAGE to manage my domain to which I said yes and I've checked my account here and it states that the domain is registered which is great but I'm still a little confused. Sorry if this seems a little basic to you.

Would this have anything to do with changing nameservers? I read the thread here but I didn't receive the ns.... info. How can I get hold of this? Do I need to go on the company's website and put the nameserver info in there to direct to RAGE's servers?

Also, when I do publish the bar at the bottom stating how much space I've used does not move. I have text, images, widgets and video links in my site so I've definitely used at least some of my space :)

Sorry if this is a little basic, just want to get my site up and running.

Thanks so much for the help.

Hi Ryan,

You just need to update your nameservers. Once you do that your website will begin working for you in 24-48 hours (possibly sooner). You need to do that with your domain registrar. Contact them to get them changed.

Your nameservers were sent to you in your welcome email. Here they are again;
Nameserver 1: ns100.ragesw.com
Nameserver 2: ns101.ragesw.com

Hi Paul,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

On my domain info page where I bought it from there is a section where I can change nameservers. I'm presuming I just put the above info in there?

Thanks so much for the help :)

Yes, that is most likely the place but you should verify with your web hosting provider.
