More Observations..

Been working a few days with EverWeb and have noticed the following;

a) Some objects appear slightly off when published.. could be the font thing (see below)

b) Fonts publish different than pre-published.
I am publishing to a folder on my Mac. The published fonts
look "chubby". This has been the case for all fonts.. including web safe and Google.

c) Hyperlinks are not active in pre-published (working) project mode. It would be nice to navigate
through all buttons and to make sure links are all working as planned before we publish.
As well, audio tracks are not active in pre-publish mode.

d) resizing width in small images such as buttons or bullets.. not effective..
same with lines… need thinner options for line shapes.. difficulty manipulating
cant get shapes small enough for customizing buttons, bullets, etc. Below a certain pixel size
things get a little weird (height continues… width stalls and object begins to "wiggle" across page

e) when adding reflection to a picture with a frame added…
reflects on the picture only and not the frame…

f) resizing some picture frames results in unequal sizing amongst the sides.

g) *won't publish email link Chrome

h) When publishing to a folder before upload… audio does not render in Firefox.
The dark grey bar is there.. but no audio and no controls/timer.
Once uploaded, it does render.

Use the Preview button to test before uploading.

The audio player will not work in Firefox when published to a local folder. Firefox requires an OGG file since it can't play MP3s natively and therefore the player needs to fallback to flash to work in that browser.

Due to the security settings, flash doesn't work with local files but the player will perform as advertised once the files are uploaded to the server. Well - it will work if the visitors computer has the flash plugin installed!

If you want to play audio using HTML5 in Firefox and up to date versions of IE, you can use a pure HTML5 player…
