On the old forum if I followed a topic I would get an email and clicking on the link would take me to the post. Now I get an email and click on the link. I am taken to the site but I can not post until I log in. When I do I have to look for the topic. Also I am usually logged in on another tab. Yes, it's a bug with the forums. Will have to investigate further. When you get here and you're not logged in, click the Login button within the Black navigation bar and it usually logs you right in without having to re-enter your details.

For a while, I wasn't getting any notifications at all. Being inherently lazy, I assumed that I didn't need to click the "Follow" button because the box next to "Send me email notifications when a reply is posted" is checked by default. Shouldn't this be unchecked? Does it even work at all? If I post a comment in a thread and don't click the "Follow" button, but the "Send me email notifications when a reply is posted" is checked, when I return to the topic, the button is showing "Un-Follow". This suckered me into thinking that the "Send me email notifications when a reply is posted" actually worked. This is all very confusing for somebody who has destroyed most of their brains cells due to wild living and overuse of mind altering drugs in the past!
