HTML Snippet Previews not working

With the new update, I'm losing things on my page that are part of HTML snippets. Here's an example. Should be 8 rows of thumbnails, using Shadowbox. You can see even the first photo is only partially showing. Works fine in Preview and when published. Probably because the HTML Snippet wasn't given enough time to load everything. Adjust the load seconds in the preferences and try again.

I don't really understand what this does. I changed the HTML Snippet Preview Delay from 3 to 6 and nothing happened. I hit apply again on the HTML code... nothing. What do I need to do to 'refresh'? No one else is experiencing this after the update? Sometimes the snippets don't even show the green arrow and glare at me with an angry, vacant expression. I am quite convinced that this seemingly random behavior is related to the phase of the moon and/or the alignment of Pluto with Uranus. On the positive side, when I insert a responsive background using CSS, in EW the image doesn't appear in the browser background but is beautifully represented in every snippet on the page. It does, of course, appear as planned in the browser. It's these little idiosyncrasies that keep me entertained and provide excitement in my dreary existence!
