SEO for EW?

User: naomiazriel 12 years ago
I am looking into purchasing EW, and wanted to ask about how SEO will work for EW-generated sites? For example, will they self-generate XML maps, or would I need to use additional software (such as sitemap automator) for that? Would I need to use something like web crusher? And, are HTML keyword meta-tags (additionally to the page title and descriptions tags which EW offers) completely obsolete in the current SEO world?

Thanks, Naomi

For creating an XML Sitemap, you would still need to use a generator like Sitemap Automator.

As for SEO for EasyWeb, we are currently working on a video course that will teach users how to do SEO to their EasyWeb site. This video will be released for free for all EasyWeb customers.

Sitemap Automator obviously does work but what is the procedure for uploading the resulting sitemap.xml to the root folder on the EasyWeb server?

where can i find information re: Google Analytics...Twitter ...Pinterest.....I assume this will be available as soon as it is published...also is there a video on SEO?,

Sitemap Automator will be updated so that users can publish the Sitemaps using their EasyWeb logins.

What type of information about Google Analytics, Twittr, and Pinterest are you looking for?

There will be an SEO For EasyWeb video course that will be released in the near future. This will be made available for free to all EasyWeb users.

You can add the Google verification meta tag into the Head Code box of the first page of your website.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. To verify your site you just copy and paste the meta tag provided by Google into the Head Code field.

How do I find the verification info in Google since it has already been verifed for the original web site.

Also Google says my site is Using 3.03 GB (20.19%) of 15 GB..does that mean I have to order the larger hosting package. .PLUS I do have 2 smaller sites. If I do need the larger package what would that cost?

I'm sorry but I do not know what you mean by this. What verification info are you looking for? What do you want to verify?

What is your original website?

Google doesn't have anything to do with our services. That is for your Google services, not EasyWeb.

You can see how much space you have left by opening your website in EasyWeb and going to the Sitename in the upper left hand corner. At the bottom you will see how much space you have left.
