Viewing slide not showing in EW

slide not showing in EW

User: eugenejazzy 12 years ago
Here is the recommended code from bannerzest for embedding the slider in iWeb which I presume should also work in EW.

bannerzest script:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://eugenelambweb.com/easyweb/banner1/bzLoader.js"></script><noscript><p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#000000;padding:1em;">Your browser doesn't support JavaScript or you have disabled JavaScript.</p></noscript><div id="SWBZA0FA4797A4F34CD5AFB3"></div><div id="LKBZA0FA4797A4F34CD5AFB3"></div>

website: http://eugenelambweb.com/easyweb/

actual banner here:

http://www.eugenelambweb.com/easyweb/banner1/bz.html

I think EW is causing something called a "css token error

any ideas Paul??

Paste this into an HTML Snippet and adjust the size to suit the slider...

<noscript><p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#000000;padding:1em;">Your browser doesn't support JavaScript or you have disabled JavaScript.</p></noscript><div id="SWBZA0FA4797A4F34CD5AFB3"></div><div id="LKBZA0FA4797A4F34CD5AFB3"></div>

Paste this into the page Footer Code box...

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://eugenelambweb.com/easyweb/banner1/bzLoader.js"></script>

Click the "Preview" button to test it out.

Roddy,
I have placed the 2 codes exactly and still nothing..........

Do I place the code in conjunction with the existing code or do I remove my code from BZ and put yours.

Not sure what to do. I have tried it in 3 browsers and nothing!

If I start from scratch what is the right procedure...... where and when do I place the code which you have given me.

Thanks

The code I posted is your code. I just pasted it into the right places and it works fine.

Start from scratch and place the first block of code into an HTML snippet and the second one into the footer code box in the Page inspector.

To Roddy

Regarding files all being in the same folder!

Does this mean that the files for Bannerzest should be in the same directory as EW or not. Shouldn't they be in their own folder and called by EW. I use Hostmonster as my host.

Roddy,

]screenshots re your instructions.

When I click preview, this is the address in the browser: (chrome)
file:///private/var/folders/lb/74lqcprs0flctr0phkl0r4b00000gn/T/TemporaryItems/EasyWeb/E0EFEFB0C17C41D988E878148E465CA0/index.html
is this right? It doesn't look right to me !

This is the address when I open the index.html file where EW has saved the site:
file://localhost/Users/LambStudio/Docum ... index.html

As you can see this is very confusing, where would a regular person get the know how to place files in the footer for example.
The program BZ works in the html widget in every program in our office.....just paste and go.

Roddy,

I started again and rebuilt the slider, uploaded it and got this message which I have never seen before: (attachment)

Could this be the culprit!!!
