Hey! Just put our website ( made 100% by EasyWeb ) online and wanted to post a link to it via Facebook. Normally, Facebook lets you choose between different pictures of the linked page to put it below the link. That doesn't work with EasyWeb-Sites. I tried all my pages... <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> The Facebook Debugger tells me: Inferred Property: The 'og:url' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Inferred Property: The 'og:title' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Inferred Property: The 'og:description' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Inferred Property: The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Maybe that helps you. ------------------------------- Impossible you say? I am not that good in code. Can I change something there or is it a problem the EasyWeb-guys should fix in general?

Anything new here? I posted a link to my site today again - but no preview picture... :-(

You can copy and paste the facebook code into the Page Header field for each page. <meta property="og:image" content="REPLACE"/> Right click on any asset and select 'Copy Relative Path' and then paste it over where it says REPLACE in the above snippet. This will show the image you want when someone shares your page on Facebook. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
