Set up a Blog

User: scot 12 years ago
Down to setting up the last page! Yeaaa....

What would be the best way to set up a blog? I looked but can't find a tutorial on this.

Thank you...

EasyWeb doesn't have a blog feature - yet!

The easiest way would be to use Google's Blogger and incorporate a link to it in your EasyWeb site navigation.

Wordpress is the big name in blogs but it is mostly just a bunch of junk you don't need and has a steeper learning curve.

I must say that was one of the main reasons I wanted to leave using iWeb due to not being able to post where I wanted, Facebook, Linkedin etc. I have seen WordPress and I liked it a lot. I certainly hope EW is seriously considering adding it as did iWeb.

What do you mean by this? What do you want to do? You would post to these networks by logging into your account through your web browser and entering something in the status field

What I meant Paul is that up until about 9 months ago I would post blogs with pics and dialog. Out of nowhere the FB option in iWeb stopped working and I had a lot of exchange due to the blogs. I took advantage of the various themes as well. It really was great. If I were to check the FB button on iWeb now I would be down. Having known quite a few guys in Cupertino due to the fact I was beta beta for Apple when they were getting into music back in the 80's they bailed me out even though iWeb was technically off line. I think, from what I've heard is that there was a format change with FB that made it impossible for iWeb to use that feature.

It's just nice having it attached to the web site. There obviously are plenty of "blog" options but it's a nice way to have people, even new potential clients via FB, Linkedin, Google + etc take a gander at your site and the potential changes and updates.
