Viewing Beta 24 Bug

Beta 24 Bug

User: Roddy 12 years ago
Starting with a new project to test some other stuff in Beta 24 I am not getting the app to acknowledge new objects. The pages don't turn red in the sidebar and don't get published using "Publish Site Changes".

Selecting "Publish Entire Site" turns all the pages red and does publish the changes.

This must be incredibly confusing for anybody trying to update a site with a lot of content. I'm working with a 7 page test site with hardly any content at the moment.

Can you show a screen recording of what you are doing?

When I create a new website the page is always red right when I add it.

I'm not referring to adding new pages.

I created the site and published it to run some tests on the head code box thing.

I then copied content from one page to another and the page (where the object was pasted) doesn't turn red. Publishing site changes obviously doesn't work but the new content does appear if the whole site is republished.

When I opened my saved project after installing beta 24, my text in my footer overwrites itself and in order to fix it, I needed to erase and re-type the whole thing over. I attached a picture so that you can see what happened so that it can be fixed. Thanks.

I'll need you to send me your website project file BEFORE SAVING IT IN BETA 24, so I can take a look. Send it to https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php

In the Projects window in EasyWeb, right click on your website and select the 'Show On Disk' option.

Please compress the project file before sending it to me by right clicking on it and selecting Compress. If the file is too big, you can upload it at http://ge.tt and send the link to me.

I made other changes before I realized that so it has already been saved in beta 24.
