When selecting text the mouse cursor is currently a pointing finger. It would be better to have it be the typical text cursor/pointer like we get in all other applications. For an example of the difference, when I'm typing in this body text box on this forum I get the proper text pointer, but when I click on the Subject entry on the same page I get the finger pointer, which is the wrong pointer to use for text.

| Sorry for the confusion. I'm talking about EasyWeb. I wMentioned this forum because it uses both types of pointers in different places. | |

For me, when an object is double clicked and you can edit the text, the text editing cursor appears properly. Are you saying you think the text cursor should appear when you are over any text object, regardless if it is ready for editing or not? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| What's happening for me is when I've already clicked inside a text box to edit the text, the mouse pointer is a finger instead of the text pointer. | |
