Viewing Replacing Images from one project to another

Replacing Images from one project to another

User: Christopher 12 years ago
It's hard to know if this has been brought up yet, though I did do a search. I'm copying all of my contents from one project to another. It's a lot harder than you'd think it be. It'd be nice if you could just copy complete pages over. But the way things are now, you can't even copy images over - even if I add them to the assets section of the project to be copied to. What I can do is select All and copy that - text boxes, shapes, etc., but the photos are missing and left with that Image Missing icon. So then, you'd think okay, just copy the photo to that and it will replace. But nope, the photo just lands nearby. So now I have to write down the coordinates, delete the Mission Image icon, and manually put the photo in its spot. Little inefficient, no?

Also, why is it that when I drag a photo onto the page it always land to the right. Why can't it just drop where I place it? I'm attaching a screenshot. This is what happens when I try to drag my images directly on top of the MIssing Photo icons:

Yes currently you cannot copy images from one project to another. We will eventually add that though.

As for the drag and drop issue, it's been fixed for the next beta.
