Beta 23

Worked fine at first but I just reopened EW and all of the pictures are gone, as well as the most recent text updates (luckily I published before it went funky).

Here are some screenshots.

How can I recover the already published version?

Did you touch your project file in the Finder outside of EasyWeb?

Can you post a screenshot of your Assets list?

I'll need you to send me your website project file then so I can take a look. Send it to https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php

In the Projects window in EasyWeb, right click on your website and select the 'Show On Disk' option.

Please compress the project file before sending it to me by right clicking on it and selecting Compress. If the file is too big, you can upload it at http://ge.tt and send the link to me.

I opened your website and it worked fine for me.

Quit EasyWeb and try opening your site again.

I've done that. My site is now gone completely! Please help. It's no longer in the projects window.

Did you move it out if the library folder. If so you need to put it back in.

Or you can double click the project file and it will open in EasyWeb.

This isn't what you saw with the images when you opened it?

I'm also having an issue with the image gallery picture frames. Some of them publish, but the others show up with a white border around them.

Thanks!

You don't need to repost your issue in multiple threads, especially ones that aren't related to your issues.

Please help keep this forum organized by creating new topics for new issues that come up.

It seemed to restore itself temporarily but now has revetted back to this. It says that the correct image is selected in the inspector, but all the images are still showing up like that. I've tested it with preview and the images don't show up. The website is now live and I can't republish it like this. I've tried quitting EasyWeb and restarting the computer.

If the compressed file I sent you via dropbox does not have this issue, could you please send it back to me? Please help, thanks.

Where is your .easyweb file located on your computer? Sounds like you dragged it into Dropbox without making a copy. With Dropbox, you always need to copy and paste, otherwise it's your actual file that you're transporting. Your .easyweb file (with all the numbers and letters) should be in Library/Application Support/EasyWeb. You can access Library by holding down Option and scrolling to it under Go at the top of your screen (when in Finder mode). Can you confirm that's where your file is. Should look like this:

I have three, each representing a different website.

Yes, I fixed that. It's back in the projects window. However, the images are still gone.

If I can't get the images working, I'm going to have the rebuild the site page by page. In the file I sent via dropbox you could see the images, correct? I thought that if you could resend it then I could work on it from there.

Thanks,
Lilah

Hi Lilah,

The version you sent me would be the same version I sent you so that won't fix the problem. Seems like there is something on your computer causing these issues.

Please email support and we'll set up a screen share.
