| After choosing text box it appears in the middle of the screen and I can write anything into it, change font, make text bigger or smaller etc. But if I move the text box into an other place or position and want to edit my text it is impossible, when pointing the text with cursor only wand appears, nothing else happens. | |

You need to double click the textbox to edit it.

If I leave the text box into the middle of the screen I can add text there and edit it, etc. as I already told in my previous message. I'm not that simple that I have left any necessary clicks undone, sorry. |

Can you show me a screen recording of what is going on. You can record your screen using Quicktime which is in your Applications folder. Open Quicktime and select 'New Screen Recording' from the File menu. Once you are done, your recording will be on your desktop. I wonder if I'm having the same issue. A couple times now i've been working in a text box with no problem. But after I leave, to publish for instance, and come back, the text box is unresponsive to any typing at all. Curser's there but it won't allow me to type. If I switch pages and come back, it starts working again. This seems specific to the latest beta 23.
