Setting up email on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is very easy to do. First, make sure you have created your email accounts with EverWeb.
If you want to set up your email on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch you can do the following;
1. Get your Server Name
Your server name is needed for your incoming and outgoing mail server. The server name will be in the format of server.ragesw.com where server changes depending on your actually server. Here are the steps to find your server name;
- Login to your client area here: http://billing.ragesw.com/clientarea.php
- Go to Services->My Services from the navigation menu
- Click the service your email is associated with
- On the next page scroll down a bit and under 'Hosting Information' you will see Server Name. Beside that you will see the server name to use
2. Set Up Your Details On Your Phone
1) Go to Settings-> Mail, Contacts, Calendar
2) Select Add Account...
3) Select Other
4) Select Add Mail Account
5) Enter the following details
Name: YOUR NAME
Email: YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
Password: PASSWORD FOR EMAIL ACCOUNT
(Note: your password is case sensitive and is the password you used when you set up this email account)
6) Click Next
7) Enter the following details;
Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: Server name from step 1
User Name:YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
Password:PASSWORD FOR EMAIL ACCOUNT
Outgoing Mail server (same as Incoming Mail Server)
Host Name: Server name from step 1
User Name:YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
Password:PASSWORD FOR EMAIL ACCOUNT
8) If you get a message saying: "Cannot verify server identity" just click "Continue"
