Viewing Background Image

Background Image

User: Guest 10 years ago
I'd like to add a custom image to my Browser Background, but need to know what size the browser background is so it looks right once I publish.

Thanks for the help .

So this is weird... I try doubling the size of the picture I created and once I added that as my background image it looked too big for my site, but once I published it, it didn't look like it got any bigger... (I've been clicking on the html document, it hasn't actually been uploaded on to any server yet).

I looked at the source code of the html document and saw that the background image was set to 50%... any idea why this would be? I set the option on the app to "Original Size"... might be nice if there was a "Scale to Fill" or "Scale to Fit" option for those pictures as well.

Thanks!

The size isn't set to 50%, the position is set to 50% so the image is centered in your browser.

You can't know the size of the browser before hand because browser size can be adjusted by the user.

You usually want to tile a background image for that reason.
