I have a forum on my live site at the moment. But I want to put my newly created site there and have a link pointing back to the forum. This means that I have to move my forum into a sub domain. My subdomain will be forum.thetruthaboutdiets.net If I put this as the link in the 'link to external page" section will it work?? because it isn't a typical http://www.etc... Thanks, John |

A sub domain will work fine if it is properly set up on the server. One of the most common uses of a sub domain nowadays is for a mobile version of the website where you use ... http://m.domain-name.com or http://mobile.domain-name.com However, if you are publishing to a server other than the EW one, you don't have to use a sub domain since you can use a sub folder so that the URL is... http://thetruthaboutdiets.net/forum/index.html If you're using the EW self generating navigation you can have the link to the Forum included in it. I outlined the method in this topic... http://ragesw.net/easyweb-beta/viewtopic.php?f=6...t=733 You can see an example of it here... http://roddymckay.com/EasyWeb/ew-menu/index.html ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
