Viewing Hamburger Navigation

Hamburger Navigation

User: Susan S. 5 years ago
I'm not really sure how to make this work. I did watch the video. Maybe I'm doing something totally off.

I have a site that I started months ago, so at this time it doesn't have the hamburger navigation menu.

Now I'm going to make a mobile site for it.

So how do I get the hamburger menu on only the mobile pages?

I don't really need it on the full site, do I?

What I want is the hamburger menu on the mobile site where there is less room for things.

Since the menu is generated by clicking the little checkbox that says, "Include page in navigation menu" I don't want the regular "About" page and the "MobileAbout" page both listed in the menu. That would mean my 15-page website, when duplicated for mobile, would then have 30 pages (home, mobilehome, about, mobile about).

So how do I get a nice hamburger menu just on the mobile pages?

I think I'm missing something.

If you want to use the EverWeb navigation menu you should create the mobile version of the site on a different project file.

Otherwise, you could use one of the many menus available in the 3 Navigation sections of the EverWeb Widgets site.

For example ...

Hamburger Icon
Menu Icon
Header Menu
Push Menu
Slide In

... and so on.
