Responsive navigation menu directing to mobile pages problem

User: Simon T. 6 years ago
The new updates are generally great. Please keep up the amazing work!
I was really excited about the responsive menu. It's a great widget, for those just with a desktop website.
However, using the responsive menu for mobile dedicated pages, the hamburger icon, directs to the desktop version of a page. In order for the menu to work properly, I need to select '"include in navigation menu". The end user then has all the pages to choose from for both desktop and their counterpart mobile pages. Any plans to roll out an update to rectify this problem?

Hi Simon,

If you have assigned your mobile page to your desktop page this should work properly.

From your desktop page go to the Inspector and select the first tab, Page Settings. Scroll down to Mobile Settings and make sure you have assigned a mobile page to this desktop page.

Then EverWeb will redirect you to the mobile page properly and you would only include the Desktop Page in the navigation bar.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Paul. Really helpful. Before the hamburger menu I was using breadcrumbs with hyperlinks direct to the mobile specific pages.

Hi Steve!

EverWeb won't work with Windows OS, unfortunately.

May I ask you to open a support ticket with details? Specifically, we need a screenshot of the error message. Log in to the Client area and click the blue button "Open New Ticket" on the Welcome page. Direct link: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php
I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you!

Alex
