Viewing Page Rotation for iPhone Site

Page Rotation for iPhone Site

User: Les C. 6 years ago
I created a iPhone page for a site.

Unfortunately, I can't get the page to rotate when I rotate the phone.

Is there something I need to do within EverWeb to facilitate this?

Thanks,

LC

iPhone screens vary in width from 736px down to 320px depending on the model and orientation. To fill the screen you need to make a responsive mobile site.

See THIS page for info about creating responsive pages in EverWeb and THIS page for suitable widgets.

-- Roddy,

From what I understand, this cannot be done from an EW mobile page.

Too bad.

I just learned that under iOS 11, screen rotation is turned off by default. What a user has to do to enable it is swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal Control Center. The icon at the far right on the top row – the lock and arrow icon – is highlighted in red to indicate that it's turned off. Clicking on the icon turns it on (white) and enables screen rotation.
