Navigation Bar - Highlight the page you're on.

Maybe I missed it somewhere in Tutorials (and for that I apologize), but how do I make the Navigation Bar highlight in bold the current page? You know, if you're currently on the "Pictures" page, the bar would look something like...

Hi, Steven!

No, you haven't missed anything, actually. Right now, EverWeb doesn't have that feature. But it seems pretty useful so I'll add it to the list of our possible new features. Maybe we'll see it in the future updates.

You can find different types of navigation HERE. Some of these have a current page indicator function.

There are various widgets for creating this type of navigation combined with a responsive header. Examples...

HI Steven,

The reason why this is not yet implemented is because there are literally an infinite amount of options someone may want to apply to the styling of the current page's navigation bar.

Navigation bars are complex because there are so many options that can apply to them.

That being said, we will think of some ways to provide this feature with an easy to use interface.

In the meantime, I hope that Roddy's solutions provide some of the features you are looking for.

Roddy -- I was just going to ask whether there was some way to stack the nav links vertically instead of horizontally, but I think you just answered my question with the Navigation Widget addon plugin called Vertical Navigation. Am I right? Will this allow me to make a nav bar like this...

Yes, it will.

Note that this will only create a single level navigation and is not suitable if you are using directors.

Thanks. I'll pick that pack up asap. I'm just making a very simple site, but I wanted the nav vertically over on the left of the site the looks like it never moves as you click through the pages. I had jury rigged the default nav bar to be vertical, but this will fix the need to have all names relatively the same character length.
