Viewing RSS Widget Can Only Produce 10 Post Titles

RSS Widget Can Only Produce 10 Post Titles

User: David G. 6 years ago
I'm trying to use the RSS widget to post blog post titles to a home page. I can only get it to post a maximum of 10 posts.

I've used the widget editing tools to increase the number to 30 but nothing changes.

I have deleted the rss.xml file and let the program create a new new but nothing changes. I don't know if its a bug in the program or am I doing something wrong?

Hi David,

Sorry for the problems you are experiencing.

What is the website URL with your RSS Widget?

What is the URL you are using for your RSS feed that you are using the widget?

Hi Paul
I don't have the feature working on my site. When I post it to my site it only post the most recent 10 posts. Also, when I go to use the RSS subscribe button it comes back with a notification that "cannot add pict to assets". I'm not sure which file contains the number to post.
The rss.xml file looks like it only has the most recent post in its file and the blog data.xml has all the posts.

What would be a good feature is to archive the posts by subject or date etc.

Hi Paul

Recently after updating to High Sierra, I noticed the Reuters RSS feeds I've been using successfully are now just showing an error on my village website. In Everweb 2.50 the feeds are displaying correctly, but they aren't displaying at all on the website - http://www.llanblethian.org.uk/news-hub/index.html
An example of the URL I'm using for the RSS feed in the RSS widget is: http://feeds.reuters.com/reuters/UKEntertainment
Like others I would like to display more than 10 feeds, is this feature on the horizon yet?
