Newer style websites are navigated by scrolling continuously down through site, page by page.

Is the only type of website possible one where you choose a page in the menu to go to the next page on the site? Newer style seems to be that you can scroll continuously down through all the pages. There is still a page menu, and if you want a specific page, you click and it immediately scrolls to that page. But if you want, you just move down to look at one page after another. Any way to do this in EverWeb? Is it something that might be possible in the future?

Hi, Sharon!

It's possible to do if you use anchor links. Check this video tutorial to learn how: http://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/anchor-links.html

The Anchors section lists various types of widgets for creating smooth scrolling from one point in a page to another and you can see how this works HERE.

For a one page website - or a long page - it's more useful to use a navigation that always remains in view. This can be a tab navigation that sticks to the top of the browser/device window or a vertical dot navigation which sticks to the browser edge.

The tab navigation is more suitable for the mobile version of the site since the dot nav will partially obscure some of the content on narrow devices. The above demo pages are responsive. Reduce the browser width to see how each version of the navigation responds to changes in browser/device width.

Content can also be arranged in slide over panels or a sticky stack.

Another popular method for scrolling type web pages is parallax scrolling.
