Link assigned to page but always directs to Everweb site

| Hi! I've had this issue for a while, the text at the top of my page is assigned to link to my index page but instead directs to the Everweb site. The issue has persisted for a few weeks, even after several attempts at fixing and re-publishing. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so what did you do to fix it? Thank you! | |

HI Katie I assume this is on a regular page (not a blog page) Copy and paste the link you entered into your web browser search bar. Does the link go to the page you expect or come back with a problem? It could be that the link that you entered in EW is not valid (e.g. a typo) Alternatively go to the page that you want to link to, copy the link in full from the search bar and re-paste it in to your Hyperlinked text. Or delete the hyperlinked text in your page in EW and retype the the text and relink it from scratch... Hope that gives you some ideas to start with! Best Simon |

Hi Katie, What is your website URL? Without seeing your page my guess is that in EverWeb you have assigned the entire text object to be a link. Select the text object and go to the Inspector->Hyperlink tab. From there see if you have enabled the entire textbook as one link and if so, disable that and republish. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
