Page Background Not Drawn the Complete Length of Page

On the About page, the Page Background does not extend to the top of the footer as expected. It appears fine in the EverWeb client software but once published it doesn't completely draw. I've checked this in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. Attached is a screenshot of the page and the section Voiceover Training (in yellow) is missing the page background. It displays as expected on the other pages. I'm using a Master Page and have, removed the Page Background, rebuilt the Master Page, published only changes and republished the entire site. I've come to the end of my troubleshooting ideas of this bug. Last edit 6 years ago |

The About page is longer than all the rest with a distance of 1365px down to the top of the footer. The background image has a height of 1198px. In the Page inspector, Page background, try setting the background image to "Stretch". ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Hi Roddy- Thanks for the suggestion. The Page Background is already set to Stretch. What's odd is It appears fine in the EverWeb editor.

Don't use the master page for the About page and it should work OK.

Clearly. But, that's not a fix. It's a workaround.

This is a bug. My website is multiple pages and uses one Master Page. The pages are various heights, so I’ve set the Content Height for the Master Page to 100. If I edit one of the shorter pages and publish, pages with a height that is more than the page I edited picks up the background height of the shorter page, and the background does not extend the entire length on longer pages. It seems for the background to extend the entire page, I need to make an edit to the longest page and then after publishing all display with the background as expected. Last edit 6 years ago |
