Any Problems from Deleting WIdgets

If a widget was used on an old web site and I delete that widget will it cause problems? I assume that when a widget is put into a site that it becomes part of that sites code and the site can be updated even if the widget is no longer in Everweb. (no change to contact form page) I also assume that if I deleted say the Contact Form.ewwdgt that I can not change it on an old site but could delete it from the that site page and replace it with Contact Form Plus.ewwdgt and that deletion would work even if the old widget is not in everweb. I assume there is no harm in deleting all the widgets I dont use to cut down on the Find the WIdget game time. Are my assumptions correct? Thanks you |

There's not much point in deleting a widget which comes with the EverWeb app. When you install an update, the widget will reappear. Third party widgets are different in that they are installed in the Applications Support folder rather than the app itself. Unused widgets can be deleted - and remain deleted.
