I cannot scroll down below the bottom of my project window.

A new wrinkle has emerged. I have built over 50 sites in iWeb and Everweb and can't get support to help me solve this problem. They've looked at the project file, had me delete the com.ragesw.everweb.xml file in my Everweb Folder, and cannot begin to tell me what is amiss. I cannot scroll down below the bottom of my project window. There has to be something simple I'm missing, but this has me stymied. Is there anyone that has suffered this?

The screenshot attached is my project window and what you see is as far down as I can go. There are elements below that show up when I publish, but I cannot get to these elements to work on them.

Hi Barry

Does this happen just one page? What happens if you resize the window? Can you then scroll?

It's funny that you ask that question, because that's the first thing I thought of. But I couldn't resize the window. I noticed that when I eliminated the top toolbar I could elongate the working area to begin seeing things I couldn't scroll down to. But I couldn't extend the working area far enough to get to those elements that were lower. When I previewed the page and zoomed out in the browser I could see what I couldn't get to in my working area. Very frustrating. I used to build iWeb and Everweb sites without a Master Page and build sites that were 2500-3500 long on occasion, but I wouldn't attempt that anymore given my recent problem. I also never used a header and footer entry, I just left them at 0. Now, I wouldn't build an Everweb site without them. The advice I got from Support was to Select All and release the Fixed Positions on everything. But that had no effect. Even having to select Fixed Position is a new wrinkle in the new Everweb. I'm willing to constantly adapt, but this has me stymied. I know your answer is a good one but am I missing how to change the size of my window? If I knew how to do that, I truly think that's the answer. I'm working on a mac OSX.

HI Barry

What happens if you put in a value in for the footer? Does that do anything? From your reply, it seems odd to have fixed position on if you don't need to use it. Usually you leave this off unless you specifically need to use it. Using the Header and Footer for your website is a good thing and i'd encourage you to use these features. What you experience with the scrolling problem is strange and not usual for EverWeb so it looks like something specific here. Is the problem only on one page of your site or on all pages (OK, you may only have one long page but it's good to know) .... have you tried creating another long page? Do you get the same problem?
Which version of OS X are you running? And have you kept up the conversation with support to see if they can come up with any other ideas/questions for you?

OK, hope that helps for now! Good luck

Simon
