Viewing Native size of page

Native size of page

Is there any way that. you can create a website that is full screen but if you shrink your browser size. the size of your page follows the size of your browser. I have seen this on another website and would love to be able to do this

Hi, Tony!

The closest you can get is Full-Width design, check this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16NX5D5vD8A

You can create responsive pages using the Flex widgets. However, for most users it is more realistic to create a full site which is responsive down the the width of an iPad in portrait mode and then create a separate fully responsive site for mobile phones.

You can stack full width, fixed height items like in THIS example or use them in combination with responsive widgets which have a built in footer.

Here's an example of a page created using a responsive header with built in navigation which switches from inline on computers to drop down on mobile devices. It then has a full width, fixed height image followed by a responsive text scroll box and then a responsive text wrap widget with a built in footer.

Although the above example will work on mobile phones, it is not recommended for this use since the full width banner image is far too large for downloading over a cell phone network.

The mobile version of the website is actually a lot more important than the full site now that about two thirds of surfers are using touch devices. It makes more sense to create this version first using widgets like these which will create a fully responsive version which will fill the screen of all sizes of mobile phone whether in portrait or landscape mode. If the break point is increased to 1059px, it will work for tablet users too.
