Viewing Facebook shares and web warnings when using go:image
Facebook shares and web warnings when using go:image

I've been inserting head coded of the form: <meta property="og:image" content="RELATIVEASSETSPATH"/> On my pages to specify an image to appear when users click on the Facebook Share widget. This seems to work very well, however, upon testing the page URL on Facebook's developer tools site, the tool flags a variety of warnings. Typically, I see the following: Object Invalid Value Object art URL of type 'website' is invalid because the given value for property "go:url" could not be parsed as type 'url' And others... I'm curious if this has to do with code Everweb is generating and potential conflicts with the go:image property in a page head. |

Hi, John. Maybe there are some conflicts with the code or it's just incomplete. I'd recommend using this feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzXjS5GSgro Wayne ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Thanks, I'll give it a try. The og:image method in the head code was based on an old post I found in the forums that likely predated the social media image feature. Thanks! |
