Ultimately, there is no way because if you use Google Chrome and inspect the html you can find the source of the image and save or take a screen shot. However, I do graphic design and I don't want people to get a hold of their artwork before they pay and watermarks are so ugly. So, I have a new method that might help you guys out. I insert my image, them I put a shape on top then change the color to clear. That's it, publish and it is impossible to drag and drop the image or right click and save. Give it a try or check out this sample link for a visual. http://socalbusinesscards.com/customorder/pacificlife/home.html Thanks guys enjoy! |

This will prevent right click but it doesn't stop visitors from opening the page source code and dragging the image file onto their desktop. It will work more easily just using an empty text box rather then a shape but it does create empty divs which reduce the efficiency of the HTML doc.. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I've used that method and it does work to a point, however, as Roddy states there is no way to protect images from those who access your source code or to keep them from coming up on an Internet search. In addition to disabling the right click just publish a very low resolution version of your photo in a small size. This saves space, makes your website load faster and prevents people from getting high quality images.Unfortunately once images are posted on the internet they may remain available to almost anyone for years to come. I've found images from a photo service at least five years after it went out of business. They were archived somewhere. and may still be available. | |
